I’ve only flown once before so I dont know how to get cheap flights, I apprently waited too long to buy tickets which would have been $250 now are $600. My question is if there are seats left on say a us airways flight and I go to the airport two hours before the plane leaves will they give me a good CHEAP rate to sell the seat or they would rather it go empty? If I have to drive it will be about 11 hours!! So please help me, I need to fly from DC to Providence RI sunday aug 5 and fly back the 9th. Thanks.

you definitely still have a time to search for cheap online tickets. You can go to priceline.com or cheaptickets.com, usairrways.com to search for the lowest ticket price. or you can call them directly and ask if there is gonna be an additional discount. Hope it works……..
Don’t just show up… You’ll get a horrible price.
Go online and look there… There are lots of last minute deals sometimes.
